Overview

Lens PWA is an example progressive web app and boilerplate by Nader Dabit that combines Lens Protocol, WalletConnect, Privy and shadcn/ui. It gives developers a starting point for a decentralized social app on Lens, with wallet connection handled through WalletConnect and the UI built from shadcn/ui components.

The project is a small Next.js 13 app written in TypeScript. Its dependencies include the Lens Protocol React and wagmi SDKs, ConnectKit, viem and ethers, along with Radix-based shadcn/ui primitives and next-themes for theming. The repository has not been updated since early 2024, so its Lens SDK versions are alpha releases from that period.

Features

Lens Protocol integration: Uses @lens-protocol/react-web, @lens-protocol/wagmi and @lens-protocol/metadata.
Wallet connection: WalletConnect through wagmi and ConnectKit, configured with a NEXT_PUBLIC_WC_ID variable.
PWA example: Presented as a progressive web app example, with react-device-detect among its dependencies.
Markdown support: Includes react-markdown for rendering Markdown content.
shadcn/ui components: Avatar, dropdown menu and slot primitives with light and dark themes.
