mewo

Overview

mewo is an open-source shadcn registry of animated React components and page sections built on Tailwind CSS v4. It currently offers 19 items covering text effects, scroll scenes, cards, backgrounds and full page sections, each installed as source with one shadcn CLI command.

Each item pulls in only the dependency it needs: some are CSS only, some use Motion or GSAP, and several WebGL effects run without any library. Every item respects prefers-reduced-motion. Recent additions include drop-in animated Tabs and Collapsible components.

Features

• Text effects: Text shimmer (CSS only), split text with staggered reveal, and text scroll highlight that lights up words as the page scrolls.
• Scroll scenes: Scroll reveal, scroll portal camera fly-through, tile reveal image grid and scroll mask with iris, wipe, curtain, slats, grid or word masks.
• Cards and carousels: Spotlight card with a pointer-following glow and a 3D gradient carousel turned by wheel, drag or arrow keys.
• Backgrounds: Aurora background on a WebGL 2 shader with a CSS fallback, pattern waves, grainient and dot grid.
• Venom effect: A WebGL 2 symbiote that crawls over text or SVG and reaches toward the pointer.
• Sections: Hero (Aurora) and Features (Spotlight) blocks.
• Animated primitives: Tabs and Collapsible built on Base UI.
