Overview
Retab UI is a set of lightweight, virtualized React viewers for documents and structured data, built by Retab on shadcn/ui and distributed through the shadcn CLI. It provides the interface pieces for document-processing workflows: viewing files, showing OCR and extraction results, building schemas and editing the extracted data.
The registry holds about 130 items, including more than 70 UI components and over 40 blocks. Viewers cover PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, CSV, images and email, and blocks combine them into OCR, splitting, parsing, classification and consensus views. The source is available on GitHub.
Features
- File viewers: PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, CSV, image and email viewers behind a common FileViewer.
- OCR and parsing: OCR, parse, edit, split and partition viewer blocks for extraction results.
- Document splitting: Excel and text splitting views, page timelines, page ribbons and segment rails.
- Consensus views: Split consensus and classify consensus blocks for comparing results.
- Schema tools: A schema builder, JSON form field, JSON table and JSON inspector.
- File handling: Dropzone, file uploader, file system tree, file and PDF thumbnails and a sources viewer.
