April UI

Overview

April UI (formerly Artisan UI) is an open-source, shadcn-inspired component library for Laravel Blade, built with Tailwind CSS and Alpine JS. Components render from the package views by default, and individual components can be published into the application when their markup needs to change.

Features

• Blade components: Use components with the <april:...> tag syntax, such as <april:button>.
• Publish on demand: april:publish copies a component into resources/views/vendor/april/components as a Laravel view override; april:update --diff and april:doctor help keep overrides current.
• Optional rich text editor: A TipTap-based <april:editor> whose scripts load only on layouts that use it.
• Livewire data tables: A bundled Livewire adapter adds server-side search, sorting, pagination, URL state and row selection to the data table component.
• MCP server: php artisan april:mcp exposes component listing, search and source to AI coding tools.

Installation

composer require yungifez/april-ui

Add @aprilStyles and @aprilScripts to the layout, then use the components:
