Overview
ai2 is an open-core, agent-native design system for the shadcn CLI. Its 51 base components each come with a full variant, tone and size matrix on a single OKLCH token source, so humans and AI agents work from the same tokens. The core system is MIT licensed and can be installed through the CLI or by an agent over MCP.
On top of the core, a free, opt-in styled layer adds 307 decorative variations such as shimmer, glow, aurora, neon, metallic and 3D buttons, badges, avatars and loaders. Pro and Ultimate licenses give access to a marketplace of Framer products, with a Figma kit and page-level Pro blocks listed as planned. The site is currently at v0.7.
