Overview

basecn is a set of shadcn/ui components rebuilt on Base UI instead of Radix. It keeps the shadcn API and styling while using @base-ui/react primitives underneath, which gives teams moving to Base UI a familiar component set to start from.

The registry at basecn.dev serves 56 items, covering the standard shadcn catalog plus a few extras. Some components add new pieces that Base UI makes available, such as an autocomplete input and a Base UI drawer, and forms are offered for both React Hook Form and TanStack Form.

• Full shadcn coverage: Includes button, card, table, sidebar, sheet, command, calendar, carousel, resizable, sonner and other familiar components.
• Autocomplete and combobox: An input that suggests options as the user types, plus a combobox for predefined lists.

• Newer shadcn parts: Field, input group, item, kbd, empty, spinner and button group.
