Overview
Catalogs, from Founded Labs, is a discovery platform for components, screens, themes and more from independent teams, currently in beta. Developers browse previews on their own or in a linked session with their coding agent, pick the pieces they want, add instructions, and hand the choices to the agent to build from.
Its @catalogs namespace in the shadcn directory serves more than 2,200 items aggregated from publishers such as KeenThemes, Tailark, shadcnblocks, udecode and shadcn itself. Rather than pasting files as-is, the agent places them alongside existing components, rewrites imports to the project's helpers, and adds dependencies only when needed. Publishing is invite only during the beta.
Features
- Cart: Collect items while browsing, add instructions, then copy a prompt for a coding agent.
- Linked sessions: An agent proposes pieces for the project, and the developer picks and sends them back with instructions.
- Project-aware installs: Files are named and placed to match project conventions, reusing existing components such as a Switch.
- Large index: More than 2,200 registry items from independent teams.
- Collections and teams: Browse by publisher team or curated collection.
- CLI: A command-line tool for working with Catalogs.
- For creators: Teams can apply to list their components, screens and themes.
