Overview
Honest UI is an MIT-licensed React component library by Connor, built around "good interfaces, honest code". It splits ownership in two: interface and animated components are copied into the project as editable source, while charts, icons, logos, vectors and shaders are imported from the honestui npm package through explicit entry points.
The registry lists 91 items: 61 UI components, 29 animated components and an analytics dashboard block. Its own CLI (npx honestui@latest add) shows the files and dependencies it will add and supports a dry run, and the components can also be added through the shadcn registry. The site recently added Honest AI, components for agent and chat interfaces.
