Overview
Iconiq UI is an open-source React component library built on shadcn/ui with subtle motion: small transitions that confirm what happened rather than decorate. Components install through the shadcn registry as local files and are meant to be edited in place. It is MIT licensed, built by edwinvakayil and part of the Vercel Open Source Program.
The registry lists 120 items. Many primitives come in two flavors, Radix (r- prefix) and Base UI (b- prefix), alongside motion components such as rolling digits, typewriter text and a thinking indicator. Despite the name, the current site is a component library rather than an icon set. Components can also be installed from an AI editor through the shadcn MCP server or an agent skill.
Features
