Tuiparts

Overview

tuiparts is a primitive and recipe ecosystem for OpenTUI, the terminal UI framework. It applies the split Base UI and shadcn/ui made on the web to the terminal: hard interaction behavior ships as versioned packages, while presentation installs as plain TypeScript source that can be edited freely, with no hidden theme runtime.

The registry lists 56 items. Each recipe ships in three flavors, Core, React and Solid, backed by the @tuiparts/core, @tuiparts/react and @tuiparts/solid packages, plus five color themes. Each catalog page shows the exact install command and what can be customized.

Features

• Versioned behavior: Focus management, keyboard activation, pointer events, collections, overlay layering and lifecycle live in packages.
• Source-owned presentation: Glyphs, palettes, density, layout, semantic variants and labels are copied into the project.
• Starter recipes: Button, checkbox, checkbox group, switch, toggle, toggle group, radio group with roving focus, input, textarea and badge.
• More controls: Number field, slider, accordion, collapsible, tabs and a dialog with focus containment.
• Three runtimes: Every recipe is available for OpenTUI Core, React and Solid.
