8bitcn UI

Overview

8bitcn/ui is a free, open-source library of accessible, retro 8-bit styled components that can be copied into React apps. It is built on shadcn/ui by OrcDev and contributors, released under the MIT license and part of the Vercel OSS Program.

The registry lists 121 items: 56 components, 63 blocks and two pages. Alongside 8-bit versions of the standard shadcn/ui set, it includes game-ready pieces such as health, mana and XP bars, dialogue boxes, quest logs and save slots. Version 2 added 35 new blocks, and the site has a themes page and a showcase for community projects.
